I’m a Creative Designer from Sri Lanka, (yes! born and raised) currently living in Auckland New Zealand with my loving partner since 2018 April.
With creative thinking, software skills and 8+ years of experience in the creative field, I have the confidence that I am completely capable of providing the best solutions to all your branding needs.

Buzzin Art is my personal brand and trade name. I do all my freelance work under this name. My career goal is to take this brand to the next step and launch a creative design studio in Aotearoa.

My experience
I always have had an interest in arts and designs since my childhood. After finishing my high school I went to college and officially started my design journey.
2013 – 2015
Diploma in Multimedia
Wijeya Graphics – Colombo, Sri Lanka.
This is where I have learned software skills and all the basic design theories. In other words, this is the place I have built a solid foundation to my career. During these 2 years in diploma, I was able to work and complete on my own design projects as well as on some client’s projects.
2015 – 2016
Multimedia Designer
GMIC Holdings (Pvt) Ltd – Mt. Lavinia, Sri Lanka
Here I was working on logo designs, brand identities and print designs. As the only in house designer, I had full responsibility to complete projects from start to finish. This is where my passion starts for logo and branding designs.
2016 – 2018
Lead Graphic Designer
Kinza Group (Pvt) Ltd – Nugegoda, Sri Lanka.
At Kinza, I had the opportunity to work for international clients. I learned a lot about international design standards and requirements. First I joined the team as a junior graphic designer and within 3 months I was promoted to the lead designer position. Here I got the opportunity to improve my UI/UX design skill by working closely with in house IT developers.
2020 – 2021
Senior Graphic Designer
Eco X-Pert Group Company Ltd. – Auckland, New Zealand.
Here, I had the full responsibility of the company’s visual branding and all the design materials on all platforms. I was working closely with all the designers and developers to manage projects and ensuring the final product deliver on time. Moreover, I had the responsibility to manage their social media profiles and helping them to gain brand awareness through social media platforms.
Since 2018
Freelance Designer
Buzzin Art Designs – Auckland, New Zealand.
In 2018, I have moved to NZ with my partner and I became a full time freelancer and my own boss. I’m focusing more on logo and branding designs as it is my long term passion in my creative career. Since 2021 I work as a registered freelance designer in NZ and provide my services to local clients and overseas clients.
